The internet brought us great things. Worldwide simultaneous communication, fast and accessible ways to connect and an infinite stream of knowledge and information. But how do we handle this unstoppable abundance? How do we value imagery and content if every picture we see can easily be flooded by the meaning of hundreds more popping up on your computer screen?

The series R>I>P> or Random Internet Portraits investigates this value of images on the internet by randomly portraying people found on the internet and liberating them from their context.
